Big Land Fishing Lodge is proud to offer an exciting new adventure: a floatplane fishing experience! This exclusive day trip takes you deep into the remote wilderness, where you'll fish for massive speckled trout in pristine, untouched waters.
You’ll fly out from a nearby location and spend the day surrounded by nature with just you and your expert guides. After an incredible day on the water, you'll return to the lodge by floatplane that evening.

2027 Salmon Fishing Packages
Enjoy a six night, five and a half day fishing experience on one of Canadas top Atlantic Salmon Rivers. Our experienced guides will bring you to the best locations on one of the many local rivers within driving distance of our main lodge.
Trip includes:
- Travel to and from Blanc Sablon Airport or St. Barbe Ferry
- All river or ATV travel
- Experienced guides
- All meals and accommodations

Tipping at our lodge is a minimum of 10% of the total price of your trip.

Transfer Pricing:
Transfer will be from Deer Lake on Sunday mornings to the lodge, with return from the lodge to Deer Lake the following Saturday. Clients should expect to overnight in Deer Lake on Saturday, as transfer pickup will be at 7:30AM to ensure an early Sunday afternoon arrival at the lodge (evening fishing is included on the Sunday evening). Return transfer the following Saturday will be early morning - expect to arrive back in Deer Lake at 4-5PM.
Transfer cost is included in the price; accommodation in Deer Lake is at cost to the client.

PLEASE NOTE:
A 50% deposit is required to reserve your adventure with the final balance due 90 days prior to your visit. Deposits and payment are non-refundable but can be transferred to another person for the planned adventure dates or used for an alternate date if available during the same season.
We have a limited amount of fly repellant, rain suits, fly jackets, and salmon flies for sale on site.

Overnight Sea Run Speckled Trout Excursion
For an extra fee of $750 per person we will take you for an overnight excursion for large sea run trout. Only for lodge guests. This will give you afternoon, evening, and the next morning fishing for these large trout, based on double occupancy. Included in excursion is meals for trip, travel to and from, overnight hotel based on two people per room, and guided boat fishing experience.
Note: At least two persons needed for booking.
Overnight Isolated Atlantic Salmon Excursion
This is a brand new service and you get to enjoy this newly renovated cabin and wilderness experience. Only for lodge guests. Our upriver cabin on the mighty Pinware is equipped with generator and solar power, camp cots, propane heat and stove, BBQ, running water, and environmentally friendly toilet set up. The view from our cabin is extraordinary and overlooks the best pools on the Pinware River. Be the last person fishing in the evening and the first on the river in the morning while having a late night BBQ or deck fire enjoying the sounds of the river right next to you. Two people maximum. One night Maximum booking per group (one night experience that you don’t want to miss). Clients will be by themselves overnight but have full contact with main lodge. Guides will be there for the evening and meet clients in early morning. Wonderful private experience.
Cost $750 for single booking, $500 per person for double occupancy.
